Fatima Self-Help Centre

The Fatima Training Centre offers to girls and women, mainly from the nearby slums and government housing, in the Din Daeng district of Bangkok, the possibility of learning basic skills that enables them to earn a decent living in a respectful and friendly environment.

The women produce high standard handicrafts, toys, educational books, children’s clothes, quilts, embroidered table and bathroom linens. They receive a just wage for their dignified work. Further studies and employment opportunities are also available to them.

The Fatima Shelf Helps Center has 2 Shops offering a wide range of handicrafts and fine embroidery work for sale from producer groups and crafts people in Thailand.

The money received from the sale of these handicrafts goes to support the Good Shepherd Sisters ministries in Thailand and helps to improve the monetary income for people and families throughout the region.
